  • ECKA Granulate Velden GmbH is founded and becomes the most state-of-the-art copper and copper-alloy facility in the world.
  • ECKA founded a joint venture with Brüggemann Chemicals.
  • ECKA acquired "HOYT Alloys" from the british "HOYT Darchem Group".

  • ECKA Granules founded a sales office in Shanghai/China.
  • ECKA Granulate acquired MicroMet GmbH/Hamburg/Germany.

  • ECKA Granules has been formed as an independent company.

2000

  • "non ferrum GmbH, St. Georgen/Austria" started the recycling of scrap from the Die Casting Industry for the production of magnesium alloys.
  • "non ferrum GmbH, St. Georgen/Austria" acquired the atomizer of "Exoterm" and founded "non ferrum Kranj".

1999

  • ECKART GRANULES founded sales offices in North America and Japan.
  • ECKART Austria started a joint venture together with SHW (Schwäbische Hüttenwerke) and founded "Alulight®". Target: combined activities in the areas R&D, production and marketing of metal foam semi-finished products.

1998

  • ECKART GRANULES acquired "Th. Goldschmidt AG, Essen/Germany", a producer of tin powder and plain bearing. The company is managed by ECKART-Poudmet/France.
  • ECKART GRANULES acquired the Australian production of "COMALCO", a producer of atomized aluminium powder, pellets and paste.

  • Spill the business of ECKART into the operational areas "PIGMENTS" and "GRANULES".

  • ECKART acquired "MÉTAC, Biblisheim/France", a producer of secondary aluminium granules.

  • "BAMCO/Bahrain" was founded, a producer of primary aluminium casting alloys and master alloys.

1993

  • ECKART acquired the company "Aluma, Fridolfing/Germany", a producer of magnesium and calcium powders and granules.
  • ECKART started the production of water atomized copper powder in Ekaterinenburg/Russia trough the joint venture with "UEM-ECKART GmbH".

1992

  • "Poudmet, Sénécourt/France", producer of water atomized Copper, Tin, Lead powder and their alloys was acquired by ECKART.
  • "ECKART AUSTRIA GmbH St. Georgen/Austria" was founded as a holding of the ECKART Granules group.

  • "C. DORN, Trautenfurt/Germany", a producer of dendritic copper powder was incorporated completely into the ECKART group.

  • Plant Wackersdorf/Germany - ECKART built one of the most modern aluminium melting and atomizing plants.

  • "non ferrum, St. Georgen/Austria" Producer of aluminium, magnesium, alloy powders and granules, was acquired by ECKART.

  • Bahrain Atomisers International was founded.
