For 100 years, we have been working in the field of plain bearing technology. The foundry of the company Th. Goldschmidt AG gave us the necessary experience for developing high-quality whitemetals.

In addition to the TEGO and HOYT® alloys, we also produce whitemetals according to international standards, such as DIN, BS, UNI, ASTM and JIS, as well as to customers' own specifications.

HOYT BONDMETER MK6

Secure bonding between white metal bearing alloy and the supporting shell is essential to bearing reliability and can be proven by non-destructive tests.

Hoyt Bondmeters are in use worldwide for bearing tests both at base and on site by non-specialist operators.

The new Mk 6 model is smaller and much more portable than previous versions.
No special training is needed. A sample bearing piece with a faulty bond zone is supplied for practice.

The method is to apply the probe to the bearing, then move slowly across the bearing surface under test. Green LED-light indicates the existence of bond.

  • Tested and recommended by TÜV Bayern (Technical Control Board of Bavaria) in comparison with WM80 and commercial zinc
